Amey Joubert

Amey is an experienced Tax Consultant with a proved track record of providing comprehensive tax advisory, compliance and tax planning services to both international companies and individuals across the Dutch Caribbean territories. Her knowledge and expertise in the field of international taxation has enabled her to provide efficient and effective tax solutions to a broad spectrum of clients in various industries.

Amey’s career commenced in 2017 at a Big 4 Tax firm in the Netherlands, where she worked  in the Global Mobility practice by providing tax advisory, compliance, and tax planning services to global clients on complex tax matters relating to the mobility of employees as well as corporate and employment tax planning. Her experience encompasses both local and international tax regimes, enabling her to cater to the diverse tax needs of her clients.

With an enthusiasm for providing comprehensive tax solutions, Amey Joubert joined the Tax team at HBN Law & Tax on December 15, 2023, as a Tax Consultant. Amey’s areas of expertise include Global and Local tax advisory & calculations, Mobility tax compliance, expatriate compensation, tax advisory, compliance and planning services and general tax law matters.

Amey’s academic journey began at the University of Applied Sciences of Rotterdam, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Tax Law & Economics in 2020. Seeking to expand her knowledge and skills in the Dutch Caribbean tax landscape, Amey relocated to Aruba in 2021. Her fluency in English, Dutch, Papiamento, French, Spanish, and German further enhances her ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and provide tailored tax solutions.
