Jan Pas

Jan has a broad corporate practice focused on fulfilling the commercial and strategic needs of his clients, often in demanding circumstances. He has more than 25 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, private investments, large scale (PPP) projects and  disputes over transactions. Jan is also knowledgeable in director’s & officer’s liability and commercial arbitration. Jan is regularly referred to for Dutch work by European, UK and US  firms and enjoys working with other professionals from various disciplines. Before joining HBN Law & Tax in 2016, Jan was a partner in a large  Dutch firm. Jan worked at the Curaçao offices of Halley Blaauw Navarro during 1995 – 1997 and contributed the Netherlands Antilles Chapter to the handbook International Commercial Fraud (Sweet & Maxwell, 2001).

Jan Pas has registered corporate/commercial law as his principal legal practice in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas. Based on this registration he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in this legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

Jan is a member of the Amsterdam Bar and the Dutch Association for Corporate Litigation.
