Our tax team advises a wide variety of clients, from local businesses to multinational corporations, on all aspects of national and international taxation.

We are looking for an ambitious Tax Consultant to strengthen our growing tax practice in Bonaire.

What will you do?

As a Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tax services to our clients. You will assist in preparing tax returns and claims for taxable income, deductible expenses, allowances, and provisions. In addition, you will assist in preparing tax advice and correspondence with tax authorities, collect data and conduct research for tax assignments, and participate in (prospective) client meetings. You will provide tax advisory services to clients and closely monitor deadlines, keeping management informed of progress and important developments.

In this role, you will support (senior) managers, directors, and partners in a wide range of assignments. You will work within a clearly defined framework and be able to perform tasks independently and as part of a team, with colleagues and management available for consultation and guidance. Furthermore, you will develop an awareness of commercial opportunities for HBN Law & Tax and communicate these to management, thereby contributing to the growth of our services and client relationships.

What we would like to see in you:

  • A completed Master’s degree in tax economics or tax law.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical skills, customer-oriented, and accurate.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and strong social skills.
