Aruba Tax Authorities – Important Notice: Extra Security When Logging into the BOi Portal

October 16, 2025

The Aruba Tax Authorities have announced an important security update for the Bo Impuesto portal. To further protect taxpayers’ financial and personal data, the portal will soon require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all users. This added layer of security will help protect your account from unauthorized access.

What is changing?
Starting October 20, 2025, you will need to log in using your username and password, but also a  6-digit verification code (token) generated by an authentication app.

What You Need to Do
You need to set up MFA to keep access to your Bo Impuesto Portal.
You will be prompted to activate MFA the next time you log in after October 20, 2025.

To access the MFA, you will need to download the Microsoft Authenticator App on your mobile phone or tablet. Once installed, follow the setup instructions in the Bo Impuesto Portal.

Deadline
The final deadline to complete this setup is January 12, 2026.
After this date, logging in to the BOi Portal will only be possible using MFA.

We recommend setting up MFA well before the deadline to avoid any login issues.
