Amy van Hooijdonk

Amy joined HBN Law & Tax in November 2025, where she actively contributes to the firm’s Insolvency, Litigation and Private Law practice.

She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Law from Utrecht University, followed by a cum laude Master’s degree in Dutch Corporate Law from Leiden University in 2019. As part of her studies, Amy also spent a semester at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Amy started her career at HVG Law in Amsterdam where she worked for more than six years in the Insolvency & Restructuring practice. During this time, she was regularly appointed as bankruptcy trustee by the District Court of Amsterdam and completed a five-month secondment at Donahue & Partners LLP in San Francisco.

Amy is fluent in Dutch and English.
