Global Elite Security Operations Successfully Transitioned to First Response N.V. Following Bankruptcy Proceedings

Global Elite Security N.V. (“Global”) was declared bankrupt by the Court of St. Maarten on April 2, 2026. Mr. C.M. van Liere of HBN Law & Tax was appointed by the Court as bankruptcy receiver.

With the authorization of the supervisory judge, Global’s operations were continued throughout the month of April. This ensured continuity of services for clients and preservation of employment for staff during the transition period.

During this time, a private bidding process was conducted to identify a suitable party to assume Global’s operations. Following this process, First Response N.V. was selected as the preferred bidder. As a market leader in the St. Maarten private security sector, First Response N.V. is well-positioned to seamlessly integrate Global’s personnel and client portfolio into its existing operations.

Effective May 1, 2026, a substantial portion of Global’s guards and clients has been transferred to First Response N.V., safeguarding employment and ensuring continued security services for those clients.

Both First Response N.V. and Mr. C.M. van Liere have expressed their satisfaction with this outcome.
