Caresse Leito

Caresse joined HBN Law & Tax in 2019, where she actively contributes to tax compliance and advisory services throughout the Dutch Caribbean. Prior to that, she worked for five years at Stichting Belasting Accountants Bureau (SBAB) in Curaçao, where she conducted audits, among other responsibilities, to ensure compliance with local tax laws, including verifying tax returns and ensuring accurate payments. Caresse also gained experience in Sint Maarten, where she worked for the Social and Health Insurances (SZV).

Caresse earned her bachelor’s degree in Fiscal Law and Economics from the University of Curaçao in 2017, and after gaining valuable experience, completed her master’s degree in Fiscal Law in 2023. She speaks Dutch, English, Papiamentu, and Spanish.
