Is This Job for You?
As a financial controller, your responsibilities include independently preparing and drafting annual financial statements, budgets, and P&L reports. You oversee the financial position and results of the company, ensuring quality and optimization within the financial department. You also play a crucial role in compiling periodic reports for both management and external stakeholders. Your expertise extends to creating detailed financial analyses to enhance internal control processes and effectively managing the company’s liquidity position. As a Financial Controller, you oversee and analyze periodic financial data while providing directions to Assistant Controllers and the accounting team. Additionally, your role involves staying alert of developments in financial and fiscal areas, ensuring the company remains proactive in response to industry changes.

- A bachelor or university degree in accountancy, business administration or business economics;
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- A proactive, resourceful and flexible attitude;
- Collaborative yet able to work independently;
- Motivated for personal growth and the development of our office;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively;
- Strong numerical skills and an affinity for numbers;
- Fluent in Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamentu;
- No 8-5 mentality;
- Proficient in the use of financial management software and applications.
