Is This Job for You?

As a Tax manager, you are responsible for independently serving clients and are thus first in line responsible for the right service to the client. As a portfolio holder, you are jointly responsible for billing & collections. Consequently, as a Tax manager you secure a market position, develop assignments, and act authoritatively in your field. You assess tax impact on clients, develop logical arguments to support conclusions, and suggest solutions that are commercially feasible to clients. You develop, manage and maintain relationships with tax agencies and other government institutions. You report directly to a director or partner. You will also be responsible for the management of the Tax practice in St. Maarten.

  • Excellent people management skills;
  • Ability to lead client engagements and interact effectively with clients at the highest level;

  • Ability to organize a client portfolio and be responsible for the management thereof;
  • Proven potential for the position of Tax director.
  • Master in Fiscal Law or Fiscal Economics with 4 to 5 years of experience in major Tax advising firms
