Luc Scholten

Luc joined HBN Law & Tax in February 2025 as a Tax Assistant. He works closely with the tax team, contributing to both tax compliance and advisory services throughout the Dutch Caribbean and Suriname.

He holds degrees in Tax Law from Tilburg University and Criminal Law from Utrecht University. His academic and professional interests lie in the procedural aspects of taxation and fiscal criminal law.

Before joining HBN Law & Tax, Luc gained experience in the Netherlands as a Tax Advisor, with a practice focused on transfer tax and international VAT. In addition to his role at HBN, he contributes to the publication of case law in a professional tax journal.

Luc is fluent in both Dutch and English.
