About
Madelaine is an all-round lawyer with vast experience in commercial litigation and is known as a skilled and driven litigator. Her practice includes construction and maritime disputes. Madelaine started her legal career in 1992 at another firm in Curaçao. In 2006, she joined HBN after a tenure at the Amsterdam firms of Lexence and Hellingman Bunders.
Madelaine is the Chair of the Curaçao Bar Education Law Foundation (Stichting Beroepsopleiding Advocatuur) an active member of the Curaçao Bar Association.
Madelaine obtained her Masters’ degree at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam and speaks Dutch and English.
