Rajeev Sanchez

Rajeev is a Junior Tax Assistant at HBN Law & Tax, supporting tax compliance, advisory, and procedural matters across the Dutch Caribbean. He joined HBN in 2024 as a working student and advanced in 2025.

He previously worked at a leading Dutch Caribbean law firm and served as a clerk at the Joint Court of Justice of Curaçao, Aruba, Sint Maarten, and the BES Islands, gaining experience in criminal, civil, and public law, particularly in the Civil Chamber and the Enterprise Chamber of the Court of Appeal.

Rajeev began a double degree in Law and Economics at Radboud University Nijmegen, completed his LLB with honours at the University of Curaçao, and is completing LLMs in Tax Law and Public Law. He served as Treasurer and Board Member of a local legal aid clinic, and currently is Secretary of the Curaçao Association of Tax Advisers and an author for IBFD.

He speaks English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu fluently.
